Welcome to New Salem-Almont High School!

On behalf of the faculty and staff of New Salem-Almont High School, I’d like to welcome you to our website.  It is our goal, as an educational community, to partner with parents and students to create a learning environment that is engaging, challenging, and supportive.

Here at New Salem-Almont High we have 150 students in grades 7 – 12.  Our students complete a core curriculum in language arts, math, science, and social studies. Students are also provided with opportunities to explore elective interests in the areas of art, music, agriculture, technology, foreign language, and physical education.  Additionally, students are provided with the option of enrolling in career and technical education courses through the MRACTC (Missouri River Area Career & Technical Center).  These courses are either taught online or through ITV.  Courses offered by the MRACTC are in the areas of medical careers, aviation, sign language, electrics, information technology, and marketing.

Our teachers are highly qualified professionals committed to excellence in education.  We are very proud of the accomplishments of our students and school. We encourage you to visit the school to see for yourself why our teachers, parents, and students make New Salem-Almont High School a great place to learn and grow. Please feel free to  me with any questions. I can be reached at  (701) 843-7610.
