Mrs. Michelle Kaelberer, PVE Music

Throughout my teaching career, I reflected on my own experiences growing up in ND and often wondered what it would be like to teach in a small town.  What would it be like to teach the same group of students throughout their high school career?  After five years of teaching English at New Salem-Almont High School, I’m happy to report that working in a small town is a beautiful experience that is hard to express in words.  I can’t explain how meaningful it has been to teach the same students over the years, to see them mature into talented, young adults, and to watch their writing style evolve and change.  Thank you for allowing me to teach your children and to be a proud Holstein!

SHOP

Since becoming a part of NSA 8 years ago, I have chosen to drive from Mandan along with my kids because of the small class sizes, great staff which make for a great work environment. This along with supportive administration make me feel loved, supported, and cheered on to be the best teacher I can be for our students.

Mrs. Sabrina Yoney, Math

Holsteins

Starting my first year in New Salem, I felt welcomed by the staff. Fellow colleagues took me under their wing and gave me the tools and encouragement to succeed.
