Thank you to Deputy Tommy for organizing an Army helicopter and BCI truck visit Monday! The kids absolutely loved watching the helicopter fly in and out and learning all about evidence! This was such a fun and engaging learning experience! 🚁 Our first graders were sworn in as Word Detectives as well on Monday! They are ready to take on any book they read! 📖

Wednesday May 7th, will be our Blitz against missing work day for Semester 2. Classes are shortened by 7 minutes and we do not have advisory on these days to make the schedule work. Students with no missing work: 6th-9th grade students will be using the end of the day to celebrate their hard work on state testing. 10th-12th grade students will be dismissed at 2:00 Students with missing work will need to report to the blitz room at 2:00 to get support from our staff to get caught up. As always we request that parents do not call in to dismiss students who have missing work as this is their best chance to get caught up before the end of the semester. See the attached picture for more details.
