New Salem-Almont has a temporary paraprofessional opening starting in the beginning of February and running until the end of the school year. If you are interested in this position, please contact Brian.Christopherson@k12.nd.us.

The Panther Booster Wrestling tournament in Rugby for Jan 14 and 15 has been cancelled.

It is extremely beneficial for the school to have time with our staff for 2-hour trainings throughout the school year. In order to do this, we have normally had early-outs, however talking with some parents, some have indicated that late starts would be more convenient. As we prepare the 2022-23 school calendar, we would like feedback from parents with younger children. The following is the link to the survey:

The wrestling duals scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 1/11) is rescheduled to January 20; start time is TBD.

The girls basketball game scheduled against Grant County has been rescheduled for Friday, January 7, beginning at 6:00 central time in New Salem.

Besides the postponement of the GBB game this evening, all extracurricular activities this afternoon will be done by 4:30PM.

The Girls JV/V game tonight versus Grant County has been postponed. Future date and time will be posted when rescheduled.

New Salem-Almont has a milk cooler for sale, measures 5 feet in width, stands 3 feet tall and is 31” in depth. It does stay consistently cool but varies in temperature too much for our lunch program. If you have any questions, give the school a call at 843-7610.
Sealed bids, with the name “Milk Cooler” must be turned in to either school building by Monday, January 10 at 3:00PM. Bids will be opened in the business office on January 10 at 3:30PM. The highest bidder must have it removed within two days of purchase. Milk Cooler

Change in boys basketball schedule-
Monday, January 3, c-squad game versus Grant County/Mott-Regent has been cancelled. The junior varsity game will begin at 6:00 central time, with the varsity game to follow.

The Mandan Boys Basketball Holiday Tournament will be live-streamed on the PSP network.

🎅 Today PVE had our December behavior celebration where we recognized the student of the month for each grade level and Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Bateman, and Miss Roehrich’s classes won the behavior trophies! We had a sing along of Christmas carols and everyone did a great job! We hope you all have a wonderful break and enjoy the holidays with all your family and friends! 🎄
