Attention PVE Parents: At Peace on Wednesday is cancelled today, Wednesday, February 22nd.

Boys Basketball Friday: We will be playing two quarters against Washburn's "C" team, starting at 5:00PM.

2nd grade had a lesson called “What’s an emergency” from Deputy Tommy today! They talked through emergent and non emergent situations and got some practice pretend calling 911 to report emergencies!





The 7th and 8th grades games on Tuesday, February 14 have a time change. We will be starting the games on that day at 4:00 p.m.

Gov. Doug Burgum has signed his first bill of the 2023 legislative session providing a $68 million line of credit to help finance the construction of 13 planned career academies across the state. This means New Salem-Almont will finally get the money it was awarded for the new shop!

AJ Heins signed his Letter of Intent to play football at NDSU today! Congratulations AJ & Go Bison!

This morning both the high school and PVE went into a soft lockdown due to a medical emergency in the high school for approximately 30 minutes. At no time were any staff or students in danger.
A soft lockdown is when students stay in their classroom with the door closed and instruction carries on as normal as can be.

Tuesday morning, juniors and seniors interested in a health-related field will be meeting with a UMary representative about a new program that pays for your college. We were just contacted late this week about the program and the deadline is February 3.
