Construction Update: This morning it was very chaotic with students being dropped off and the number of construction trucks in the area. For the rest of this week, they will wait until 8:30AM before running the trucks as it is too dark. With the time change next week, we should be ok as it will be much lighter out. To help with congestion though, parents are encouraged to drop their PVE kids off at the tennis courts for the next two weeks rather than the top of the hill. The dirt work stage should be done in less than two weeks so the number of large equipment going in and out will be drastically reduced. To help with congestion and safety in the afternoon, from 3:00pm-3:20pm, the trucks will not be running to provide a safer environment for students getting picked up by parents or walking home.

Attention PVE Parents: The School Store is open once again this year! Your child will be bringing home the fundraiser form if you would like to participate. You do not have to participate if it does not work for your family! This is the fundraiser that allows you to either donate directly to your child's classroom for books, educational games, art supplies, and flexible seating, or you can purchase items on the website and a portion of the money will be donated to the school. The money donated to the school will go towards playground equipment such as balls, jump ropes, sleds, and games. Thank you for your continued support!

The school board on Monday voted 7-0 to build the new agricultural shop. Due to inflation and the rising cost of supplies, we had to cut out some of the equipment that we had hoped to include in the original project. As we move forward, we will be looking for grants and fundraisers to pay for these cost-saving measures. One way for landowners to help is to fill out the America's Farmers Grow Communities application, by Bayer Fund. This random drawing allows the winner to donate $5,000 to his/her favorite organization (hint FFA and the new shop). Please take the time to enter the code you may have received in the mail or fill out the very short application to get your name entered into the drawing. North Dakota will be awarded 20 winners, so please fill it out now as the deadline is November 1, 2022. https://www.americasfarmers.com/enroll-now/
