From the Desk of the HS Principal:
Second semester started out very well. We are very proud to announce that our Dual Credit program was a huge success first semester. We had 24 students (19 Seniors and 5 Juniors) take at least one Dual Credit course. This is an awesome advantage to our students.
All 24 were very successful. They have earned college credits in English, College Math, Medical Terminology, and Psychology.
College English 17 students: (A = 7, B = 9, C = 1)
College Algebra 11 students: (A = 2, B = 4, C = 5
Psychology 11 students: (A = 8, B = 1, C = 2)
Finite Math 3 students: (A = 3)
College English is worth 3 college credits
College Algebra is worth 4 college credits
Psychology is worth 3 college credits
Finite Math is worth 3 college credits.
This semester we have students taking Dual Credit Speech, English, and Sociology.
I am very proud of our students. This is very positive for the New Salem-Almont HS, showing that our students are prepared for greatness and with the proper guidance and direction we will continue to stay successful.

There will be no "C" Squad girls game tonight. JV & V will play starting at 6:00 p.m.
