New Salem-Almont Public School Community Meeting/Training Wednesday, August 14 8:30AM-9:30AM Narcan training will be offered to community members and staff starting at 8:30AM in the new Ag. Ed classroom. Thursday, August 15 11:15AM-11:45AM We would like to give parents and community members the opportunity to meet with our AI Presenter, William Grube. This meeting will provide information about the benefits and risks of AI in education, such as personalized learning and privacy concerns. This meeting will provide a platform for parents to voice their questions and concerns, fostering a collaborative approach to integrating AI responsibly. At New Salem-Almont school we want to continue to build trust and transparency between the school and the community, ensuring that AI is used ethically and effectively to support student learning. We understand that this time is not ideal but the best we can do with the presenter's schedule.

Girls Golf starts on Monday, August 5th at 8:00 am at Red Trail Links. Girls in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate. All participants must have physicals complete before the first practice to be eligible to participate in the first tournament on Friday, August 9th.
