Just a reminder: the PVE Color Run will start at 1:00 and end about 2:30, so if you see kid running around, give them a wave!

New Salem-Almont is looking to hire a business manager, with a start date in June. This will ensure that the new employee has ample time to train under our current business manager if needed.

Attention PVE parents: Gymnastics is coming to New Salem! A half sheet form was sent home for you to fill out if your child is interested in being in gymnastics! Please fill out the form if your child would like to participate and send it back to the school by Friday May 17th! The informational meeting will be on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:00 pm in the lunchroom at PVE.


PVE Parents: Please keep a look out for the "What to bring to Field List" for Wednesday! We can't wait to spend the day having fun outside!


Major turned 2 today, so we threw him a birthday party with his friends, cards, and games! It was so fun celebrating Major and all the kids had a blast!

The Carnival on Saturday May 4th will be held at New Salem-Almont High School. We hope to see you there tomorrow between 11-2 for tons of fun!!

Our 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th graders have been invited to participate in the dunk tank at the carnival on Saturday May 4th! Please have your student bring the form that was sent home today back to school signed on Friday or during their grade level dunk tank time on Saturday if they would like to do it! We are excited to have some of the "big kids" participate in all the fun this weekend!


Parents of 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students: An interest letter was sent home for football starting in August. If you child is interested, please return the form ASAP so we can start planning for August and getting more information out over the summer. Second grade got to visit the Fraine Barracks to see State Radio. Officer Tommy set this up as part of his D.A.R.E. program. The kids got to see where 911 calls are taken, where they meet to deal with emergencies, they got to meet Smokey the Bear, sit in patrol cars, see an ambulance in person, shoot water for the Forest Service trucks, and drive a rescue robot!
