WIth school starting Tuesday, August 22, I would like to put out a few reminders regarding events this week:
Tonight: Transportation Comm Meeting at 6:15PM and August Regular School Board Meeting at 7:00PM at the high school.
Wednesday: Open House for grades K-12 from 4:00PM-6:00PM
Thursday: Bus Driver Meeting at 7:45AM, Coaches CPR training and meeting
from 8:30AM-10:30AM.
Finally, if you are new to the District we need you to either register your children for school or fill out the homeschool form.
Reminder for 4/5/6 Grade Football Parents: There is a parent meeting tonight at 6:30 in the library of the HS along with uniform pick up following the meeting. We look forward to seeing you this evening!
New Salem/Almont Parents: Reminder, there is an additional August meeting for PTO tonight at 7 p.m. in the PVE lunch room. Please enter through door 1! All are welcome!
Coach update for 4/5/6 Football Parents: Derrek Heins will be the head coach for 5/6 grade football this year. Shane Bennett will be the assistant coach and Lauren Bennett will be the team manager. All 3 will be at the meeting on Monday to try and answer any questions you may have about the season! See you Monday!
Attention NSA Parents of all grades: "Meet the Teacher" for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on the 16th of August from 4-6 p.m. at the elementary and high school. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Attention NSA 4th-6th grade parents: There will be a 5/6 grade football meeting on the 14th of August at 6:30 in the HS library. We would like to invite the 4th grade students and their parents to attend as well. We would like to include 4th graders in practices as well as some games when necessary. Shane and Lauren Bennett will be hosting the meeting, so please bring any questions you may have and they will have the information needed to get started.
Practice will start on the 15th at 6:30-7:30 on the playground of PVE.
Lacey, our Athletic Trainer, will be at the high school Monday, August 7 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Thursday, August 10 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. next week.
Attention PVE Parents: Attached you will find our cell phone/Smart Watch Policy for the elementary school. This will be included in our Student Handbook for you and your child to sign as well. We don't have many issues in the elementary school with devices, but we feel it is good to get ahead of any issues. Thank you for your support!
It's getting to be that time, the first football game will be on Saturday, August 19 in Mandan.

With help from the New Salem Civic Club, NSA will not be charging NSA students admission again this year to regular season games.
