Cow Town Hoe Down 2022 Info
The New Salem JH/HS bands will be marching in the Cow Town Hoe Down parade on Saturday, July 16th. The parade starts at 10:30am so we will be meeting in the band room at 9:45am to run through the “Hey Song” and drum line cadence together (I will be playing a drum). We will walk from the band room to the start of the parade. It is most fun to march when we have a large group, so please mark your calendar and HS band members will receive lettering points for the upcoming year. The band is typically near the front so you may be able to march with the band and still join other floats in the back if they need you.
I have sent a pdf of “The Hey Song” to everyone’s K12 email so that you may run through it at home. If you have any questions, please call or text me at 701-934-5089.
Lastly, cow bingo tickets are available at the high school if you want to fundraise for future band trips. They are sold at 50% margin which will be credited to your individual account. Make sure customers fill out the information fully, they get the stub, you keep the info/number book. Be sure you either hand the money and ticket books back into the office before Cow Town Hoe Down or hand them to me during the event for me to sell. Kayla/Marci will write down your name and what books you take so that I collect, and credit tickets sold to you.
Looking forward to seeing you!
