NSA is utilizing a new system for alerts. Within this system, we can no longer be specific when sending out lunch balance information. Please check your child's lunch balance regularly on PowerSchool to have an accurate balance for your child. If you are a free or reduced lunch student, you can disregard the message.

7th and 8th grade STEM/Reading Enrichment students received the opportunity to tour the Bobcat Acceleration Center on Wednesday. They had Q & A with several engineers that work throughout the facility. They participated in a STEM activity trying to build a 'strong cab' that protects an egg from structural damage.

Monday, February 17: We will start school at 10AM today, this means buses will run 2 hours late. This will give us a projected 10 degree difference in temperature. Breakfast will not be served. As always, please have your child dress accordingly when riding the bus in the winter. During the winter, we always have one bus running on standby. As a parent, if you feel it is too cold to send your child to school, you may choose to keep your child home. His or her absence will be treated as an excused absence, just as it would for an illness.
