A giant THANK YOU to New Salem PTO, New Salem Ambulance, New Salem Fire Department, Security First Bank, and the Morton County Sheriff's Office for gathering and dropping off all the donations! Thank you to all our New Salem community members for helping our district fill so many backpacks and ensure our students have what they need for a successful year! It's amazing to have so many people come together to help our students and staff!


Parents, if you are struggling financially, please ask Sherri Hulm for a free/reduced lunch form. The school also receives donations from community members to help pay for activity fees with the purpose of helping families out. Please contact Mr. C if you need help.

New Salem-Almont Public School Community Meeting/Training

We would like to give parents and community members the opportunity to meet with our AI Presenter, William Grube. This meeting will provide information about the benefits and risks of AI in education, such as personalized learning and privacy concerns. This meeting will provide a platform for parents to voice their questions and concerns, fostering a collaborative approach to integrating AI responsibly. At New Salem-Almont school we want to continue to build trust and transparency between the school and the community, ensuring that AI is used ethically and effectively to support student learning. We understand that this time is not ideal but the best we can do with the presenter's schedule.

Attention parents of students with food allergies. The school needs to have on file with the kitchen and school , a signed document from their doctor stating their food allergies before the first day of school. Thank you for your cooperation.

Deputy Tommy delivered school supplies that were donated to the Morton County Sheriff's Office! We are so incredibly grateful for the generosity. If you need help checking off items on your students supply list, please call the school or email Mrs. Bennett at Lauren.bennett@k12.nd.us.

Girls Golf starts on Monday, August 5th at 8:00 am at Red Trail Links. Girls in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate. All participants must have physicals complete before the first practice to be eligible to participate in the first tournament on Friday, August 9th. Participation fees are due to the high school before the first competition as well.

Reminder- Holstein 4th-6th grade Football Parents: We will be starting practice on August 5th from 6:00-7:30 p.m. We will have a parent meeting on Thursday, August 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the HS library.
