ATHLETES AND PARENTS OF NEW SALEM ALMONT:
The offseason program is officially here! Mr. Floberg has created a partnership with Origin Performance out of Dickinson to help out. The program is nationally recognized and has shown huge growth from the athletes who participate! The program is offered to athletes entering grades 7-12 next year. Also, with community support, it comes at no cost to the athletes or families!
Attached is a QR code to sign up into Origin's database to track performance throughout the summer heading into next sports season. As far as schedules go, also attached is a code for the SportsYou page "Holstein Performance Training." On that page, all of the sessions and times will be shown in the calendar. Athletes can choose which session works best for them on each day and respond with a "going" for each day on the calendar. Parents and athletes will be notified of any time, location, and rescheduling changes through SportsYou. All of the sessions

Tomorrow morning from 8:30 - 9:30 we will be celebrating academic achievements made throughout the 2025-26 school year.
All Basketball camp forms need to be turned in by the end of the week to either school office.
Computer Found
If you lost a computer on 5th Street in New Salem sometime late last week, please call or stop by the high school to identify it. One was turned in to the high school office on Friday morning.

Our 5th graders were welcomed by the 6th graders to shadow them this morning and get a look at middle school! Thank you so much to the 6th graders and 6th grade teachers for welcoming all of us over and showing our 5th graders the ropes!
7th grade students had the opportunity to visit the ND Fish Hatchery in Riverdale last week!
As a reward for doing well on State testing, the 8th Grade went bowling in Beulah today. The 6th & 7th grades watched a movie and enjoyed root beer floats!

As we prepare for another great summer of gymnastics, please mark your calendars for these important dates:
🖤Wednesday, May 13 at 6:00 PM – Parent Meeting in the PVE lunchroom.
We will introduce the coaches, review details about the summer program, and answer any questions. Registration will open after the meeting.
🖤Monday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 20– First week of practice at the West River Wrestling facility.
🖤Wednesday, July 15 at 6:00 PM – Final performance at the NSA High School gym.

Deputy Tommy was defeated by the 3rd grade class again this year in our annual Kahoot Battle! Sig won the belt beating Deputy Tommy's score in the last few questions. Congratulations 3rd grade 🎉
This Wednesday, our 10th grade students participated in mock interviews with local businesses as a wrap-up to their Work-Based Learning preparation lessons. Throughout this unit, students researched careers, wrote résumés and cover letters, and practiced interview skills.
We would like to give a huge shoutout to the community leaders who took time out of their day to help make this event possible. This was our second year hosting mock interviews, and we hope to continue growing the event in the future.
