Send off for the Holstein Wrestlers!
Good Luck at State!!

TIME CHANGE for the boys' basketball game today at Kidder County. The JH boys will start at 3:45 and the JV boys will start their game at 5:00PM, with Varsity to follow.

We will start school at 10:00AM Tuesday, this means buses will run 2 hours late. Breakfast will not be served.

Monday, February 17:
We will start school at 10AM today, this means buses will run 2 hours late. This will give us a projected 10 degree difference in temperature. Breakfast will not be served. As always, please have your child dress accordingly when riding the bus in the winter. During the winter, we always have one bus running on standby.
As a parent, if you feel it is too cold to send your child to school, you may choose to keep your child home. His or her absence will be treated as an excused absence, just as it would for an illness.

NSA will once again be offering a fan bus for Monday's game. The cost is $5.00 for the bus ride and $5.00 for admission. A sign-up sheet will be available in the high school office, and a final decision on whether the bus will run will be made by 11:30 AM.

Thanks PTO for the Hot Cocoa Today for the Staff and Students!

We announced to high school and middle school students this morning that if there was enough interest we would provide a fan bus to the girls district tournament tomorrow in Washburn. The girls will take on Wilton-Wing in the opening round of the tournament.
Cost to ride $5
Cost for admission $5
Bus would leave right after school and return after the girls game which starts at approximately 4:30
We can only run a bus if we have enough interest, students will be encouraged to sign up by the end of 1st period tomorrow.

If you are interested in purchasing Little Caesars Pizza Kits, please contact Randi Jo Acton (phone number on the flyer) to place an order! You can also comment and she will reach out to you. This is a fundraiser to help PTO raise money to give back to the school!

Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade students that competed at the Morton County Math Counts competition.
We placed 3rd Place as a team!
Sophia Voigt was 2nd in the County
Eli Taylor was 4th
Kylie Wolf was 9th
The top 8 competitors from Morton and Burleigh County also compete in a 1 vs 1 countdown round where whoever answers correctly first is the winner of the round. Sophia finished 2nd there as well.
Once again, congratulations to all participants on their hard work. Great job representing NSA!

Meteorologist Meghan Chada from the KFYR News team visited our 8th grade students who are currently studying in their weather unit. Meghan talked about meteorology , what it's like to be a meteorologist on TV, and even made a cloud in a bottle!

You will notice a new tab called "Alumni" which has information about the New Salem-Almont School Foundation, as well as photos of all of the senior portraits that used to hang on the walls of the school (1923-2007).
A big thank you goes out to Mary Doll and Jace Storsved who photographed each portrait before they were sent to the New Salem Historical Society/Custer Trail Museum..
The Alumni tab is located under the "More" tab or you can click the link that will take you directly to that page. (click on the photo to view the entire picture)
