
Our first graders became Word Detectives today with the help of their teachers and Deputy Tommy! They are ready use their skills to help them become better readers and find ways to sound out words they don't know yet! 🕵️

Congratulations to Brock Norton who signed his letter of intent to play football and run track for Valley City State University. Brock was a 4x All-Region and 2x All-State running back for the Holsteins, along with qualifying for the State Track Meet in triple jump, 100 meter dash, and 200 meter dash. Best of luck to Brock as he continues his athletic career as a VCSU Viking.

Due to one school not having enough players for their tournament game tonight, our boys junior varsity game has been moved to 6:00 p.m. at Glen Ullin.

The Girls C Squad game tonight versus Solen has been cancelled. No reschedule date at this time.
JV/Varsity Girls games versus White Shield will start at 5:00 p.m.

The boy's basketball game at Standing Rock on Tuesday has been postponed. We will share the new date once we have one.

Parents of High School and Middle School Students: Today will be a modified virtual day.
There will be NO VIRTUAL MEETINGS for students today.
Student will have assignments posted to Google Classroom by 10:00am this morning - Please access these assignments as there completion will be used to count attendance for the day. HS students will have assignments posted for all of their classes. Middle School students will have assignments posted for English, social studies, and science.
If your student is having trouble accessing their @nsaschools google account please reach out to a teacher or to Mr. Olson and they will work to get your password reset.

PVE Parents: With today being an unexpected "snow day", please utilize your students "Snow Day Choice Board" that was sent home in the fall. If you cannot find it, please reach out to your child's teacher so they can get you a copy. Please make sure to bring the choice board and all work back to school to hand in to your teacher. There is a math and reading video for each grade on the Holstein Channel on YouTube! If possible, please have your student watch this video and practice the skills gone over by their teacher! No school today due to bus problems; today will be a virtual day. More information to come regarding the virtual day from teachers and principals. Extracurricular practices will be determined later this morning.

With the extreme cold weather predicted, NSA will start school at 10:00AM tomorrow (Monday). Please make sure students are dressed appropriately. Plan on buses running approximately 2 hours later.

The JV Girls Basketball game with Center, that was originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20th, has been cancelled.

Greetings.
Due to injuries, the "C" boys basketball game at Garrison on Friday, January 17 has been cancelled. We will begin the junior varsity game at 6:00 that evening. The bus will leave at 4:00.

Our 5th graders graduated D.A.R.E. today! We are so proud of all their hard work! Congratulations 5th graders!
