Time change for open gym!


Open gym for grades 3-8 continues this Sunday for grades 3-8 but the time will now be 2PM-4PM.

Starting on Monday, January 6, the "3rd street" in-town route will be riding Gregg Klusmann's bus after school. We will ensure those kids get on the right bus.

The New Salem-Almont football team is looking to fill 2 varsity assistant coach openings. If interested please email Coach Kringstad at benjamin.kringstad@k12.nd.us
In your email, please outline:
1.) Interest in the position
2.) Relative playing or coaching experience in football and/or athletics


SCHEDULE CHANGE:
Saturday there will only be JV and Varsity boys games starting at 2:00PM at home due to low numbers for White Shield.

Open gym cancelled today- Sunday, December 29th.


Junior High Boys' Basketball will begin practicing over break, we understand that your son may miss a practice or two due to the holidays and being out of town. If that is the case, please contact Brian.Christopherson@k12.nd.us to let us know. All boys will need to have a physical to begin practicing. A schedule is included, but as always, dates/times may change.

Thurs., Dec. 26: 3:30-5:00 @ Auditorium
Fri., Dec. 27: 10:00AM-11:30AM @ Auditorium
Mon., Dec. 30 2:00PM-3:30PM @ High School (location may change due)

Wed., Jan. 1: TBD

Bus drivers are aware of the conditions and will use their judgement when on the route, which often often leads to late pickups. If you are keeping your child home, please call 843-7610 or contact your bus driver. Thank you

New Salem-Almont Schools and Head Start will be one late today, breakfast will not be served. This means buses will be picking up kids one hour later and we will be looking at starting school by 9:15AM.

All 6th - 11th graders take semester tests first semester
On Thursday the test sessions will end at 2:30 -- If students do not need any makeup time, do not have missing work, or do not ride a bus they will be dismissed at this time
Friday the test sessions end at 12:20 if your student wants lunch will be served following the 7th period test -- again if students do not need to makeup any tests, time or have missing work they are free to leave following the final test session.
Bus students again must remain in school until busses leave at 1:30 (after lunch)
If weather would present problems we will adjust the test schedule as needed.

PVE classroom group photo order forms are being brought home today. If you wish to purchase a class group photo, please fill out the form, enclose payment, and return to the elementary school by Wednesday, December 18th. Thanks

Booster Club Needs HELP!
With girls basketball in full swing and boys basketball games fast approaching, the Holstein Booster Club has many concession volunteer times available. Please look over the dates and see what works in your schedule. The group appreciates each and every volunteer as we are not successful without your help. Thank you!

Tomorrow, Wednesday the 11th, NSA HS/MS will be having a Blitz against missing work. We will have periods shortened by 7 minutes and classes will end at 2:00.
Students with missing assignments will report to the Blitz rooms to get help finishing missing work
6th-9th Grade students with no missing work will have their choice of in-school activities to take part in.
10th-12th Grade students with no missing work will be dismissed at 2:00
If your student has missing work please do not call in to excuse them -- this is their best opportunity to get help from teachers to get their work done!

The JH GBB game tonight will now be played at the Memorial Hall in Washburn- 805 Main Ave
