New Salem-Almont Public School has a 30+ year old 12x60 trailer house with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom for sale on sealed bids. The trailer was moved offsite from the school in September and can be viewed at Weiss House Moving in New Salem, ND. Please submit your bid to New Salem-Almont School District, 310 Elm Avenue, New Salem, ND 58563, Attention: NSA Business Manager. Bids will be opened on Monday, October 30 at 1:00PM in the business manager's office.
The winning bidder must take possession and move the trailer off the current site by November 7. For more information on the trailer, please contact the school at 701-843-7610.

Sanford Trainer Hours (Week of October 2-6)
Tuesday, October 2- Lacey will be at Volleyball game starting at 6 p.m.
Thursday, October 4- Lacey will be at the fitness center for treatments from 2-7 p.m.

Fitness Center is online finally!
On April 23 we lost our connection to the fitness center, meaning we could no longer make or update key fobs. We also lost the connection to the surveillance cameras, which ensure everyone is safe and to help prevent vandalism.
When the system went down, we thought we were less than 6 weeks away from having everything up and running, however due to supply chain problems as well as subcontractors being spread too thin, this went on way too long. We brainstormed on what we could do but with the cameras down, our options were limited. Our plan was to keep the fitness center open manually, but this didn't work as planned either. We did not want to advertise that the fitness center was open because the cameras were down, so it was difficult to explain the entire situation without literally opening the door to everyone. For those of you who called, thank you as we could discuss our situation.
Many of you were not affected because your fob was entered into the system before April 23, however for people who were affected, we will be looking over the applications in the next two weeks to extend your membership according to the amount of time you were unable to access the fitness center. If you have any questions about your account, please call 843-8710.
The volleyball matches versus Napoleon on Thursday, September 28 will be broadcast on BEK and the NFHS Network.

The elementary football jamboree scheduled for this Saturday, September 23 at Ashley has been cancelled.
Majors brother, Finn, from the Dunn County Sheriffs Office came to visit us in New Salem today! They caught up while on patrol together. Needless to say, they were the cutest pair of patrol officers out there today!
